Since 1945 The Natural History Society
of Barrington has been bringing exciting field trips and captivating programs to the
Barrington Community. All featuring topics
that deal with some aspect of man’s
relationship to his environment.
In the past two years, for example, we’ve traveled to learn firsthand how whooping cranes are being taught new
migratory routes, and what a totally green home in Southeastern Minnesota is
really like.
We’ve listened to presentations from noted nature photograpers, illustrators, and
our own members who have taken us on extraordinary slide journeys to China,
Russia, Africa, and the Galapagos.
Programs are free and open to the public.
You are also invited to become a member.
